What is the difference between a family room and connecting room ?
At Hotel des 2 Continents, we love families. That is why our hotel Paris 6th arrondissement offers a choice for families : family rooms or connecting room.
Family room
The family room is one room with two matrimonial beds, a Nespresso coffee machine, one modern bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, and welcoming amenities. Each family room occupied the whole floor, the 4th and the 5th floors, and overlook a quiet courtyard.
Connecting room
Contrary to the family room, connecting room is composed of two rooms connected by a door. That means that each room has its own equipment. Thus you will find two king size beds (or if you wish, one king size bed and two single beds), two bathrooms with shower, two courtesy trays, to entrance doors…
Why choosing connecting room ?
Of course choice depends on your children’s age. If you travel with young kids, a family room will be a good option as you need to keep an eye on them. However, with teenagers, connecting room will be a good choice as both of you will have intimacy. The connecting door allows you to be next to each other as in apartment, but it is also possible to keep it close at night.
In conclusion, for a family stay, just determine if you wish to be together all the time of you prefer to have intimacy sometimes to make the ideal choice.
